UD Tablet Maker
After Sampling make a Tablet to reduce Sampling Error
The UD Tablet Maker is designed to compress the powder samples taken by
the UD Master. By compressing the sample it ensures that loose powder is
not lost during handling, this helps to reduce sampling error.
Special Split Sample Cells need to be used in place of the standard sample
cells. (Note: These inserts will only work with the standard U-D Master)
What Do I Need?
1. The U-D Tablet machine (see table below)
2. Special split samples cells (see table below)
3. The correct tablet punches for the split sample cells (see table below)
4. Sampler - see Standard U-D Master (see pages 76-77)
5. Pressure Gauge 5k or 10k PSI
