Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate’s role will be to help drive the business forward at a time of significant investment when we will be introducing many new products.
The job is based at our premises in Coleshill and it will entail some UK travel as well as international travel.
You will be responsible for formulating plans and to deliver results in accordance with agreed Sales Targets. You will be a key player in continuing to foster the strong relationships with our long standing customers and distributors together with developing new relationships and business opportunities.
Working closely with the business directors and the sales team you will :
- Develop a sales/marketing strategy for UK and rest of world
- Develop/Train/Motivate our existing distributors
- Find new distributors
- Organise product launches
- Organise our attendance at international trade shows
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience as a B2B sales manager for technical products.
- Experience in preparing sales plans.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical equipment or medical device industries (preferred but not essential).
- Well developed sales and negotiation skills.
You will also be able to demonstrate strong people management skills together with a real passion for results. Your experience will demonstrate an ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships. You will be an innovative thinker and will be adaptable in your approach.
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel abroad
